The seminar was sponsored by SIDA, Makerere University and the Swedish Royal Institute of Technology as a regional follow-up to the World Bank Urban Research Symposium held in Washington D.C. in May 2007.

Searching for Land Tenure Security, 22 May 2006. Participants included senir officials, academics and other professionals involved in land management and land tenure policies in six African countries: Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, Tanzania and Uganda.
