Cambodia: World Bank Inspection Panel Assessment

Following the completion of the Inspection Panel’s report on the Cambodian Land Management and Administration Project (LMAP) and the request by representatives of evicted households, and those threatened with eviction, in the Beoung Kak Lake area of Phnom Penh, Geoff was invited by the World Bank to return to Washington in March 2011 to prepare for meetings leading up to the Board of Directors meeting at the Bank on 8 March. Following extensive discussions chaired by World Bank president Robert Zoellick, a final statement was issued by the Bank. To read this statement click here.
