Geoff was honoured to be invited to contribute to the International Conference on Real Estate Development and Management organised by Ankara University between 01-04 February, 2023 and held at the Wyndham Hotel, Ankara. Geoff first visited Ankara with his students in 1974 and then undertook a major research project on housing and urban growth in Ankara, so was particularly happy to be able to celebrate the centenary of Ankara’s designation as the capital of the new Republic of Turkiye and to meet many longstanding friends.
